A varied 4.5 mile walk from the church in Woodmancott, through College Wood and across the fields to the hamlet of Popham.  The route then turns east past Popham Court farm before entering Popham Down Copse.  Part of the route here can be very muddy due to logging trucks.

The route then passes through more woodland before rounding onto a long shallow ridge that can be windy.  A northerly turn at the farm buildings then takes you back towards the church.

Not much in the way of facilities here.  There is a pub on the A30 before the turn off to Popham.

Circular walk of just under six miles from Keyhaven. Views of the Isle of Wight. Good route for bird-watchers with egrets (I've had a few :-) ), Canada geese and many types of sea birds. Good pubs in Keyhaven (The Gun) and half-way around at The Chequers. Car-parking (paying) with public toilets opposite The Gun in Keyhaven or free parking in lane on first part of the route. Easy walking on the flat the whole route.

A 14 mile circular walk that takes in a variety of terrain with great views over Sixpenny Handley and Cranbourne.  For those interested, this route follows the Cranbourne Chase Circular 100 cache power trail.

We parked on the road through Cranbourne and walked a few hundred metres to start this route.  Almost immediately, you pass Cranborne Church, built between the 12th and 15th centuries, followed by Cranborne Manor, originally a medieval hunting lodge founded by Henry VIII and extended by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury between 1607 and 1611.

A slightly wandering 3 mile circular walk.  We intended to follow the Lulworth range walks route but found it was closed (a good reason to always double check the range times) and, as such, we had to detour and head westwards towards Durlde Door beofre calling it a day as we battled a surprising amount of visitors for such an early weekend in the season.

A great walk for the views but I'd recommend doing it mid-week or out of season.

A good 4.6 mile circular walk over varied terrain.  We parked on the main track into Shitterton.  From ther ethe footpath starts around 100 yeards away.

Shitterton was name over 1,00 years ago and literally means 'farmstead on the stream used as an open sewer'.  Luckily, it isn't used for that purpose nowadays.

The walk climbs up a gorse lines path to Black Hill adn form there, follows the ridge west to Piddle Wood (we really couldn't make this up), on the Jubilee trail.

A great 4.5 mile circular walk, on the flat, around Keyhaven Marshes and nature reserve.

Parkign in the pay & display car park, the footpath starts straight away and leads of following a small tributary.  It soon turns to a well packed gravel track that circles behind the marshes and inland, passing the entrance to the local waste centre as well as a campsite before eventually popping out in Lower Pennington and The Chequers Inn, a nice 16th Century village pub and restauarant.

A short walk around and into the Devils Punch Bowl on Hindhead Common. There a numerous walks here of varying length and the whole area is well worth an explore.

This walk begins at the National Trust car park where there's a tea room and toilets if required. The old footpath used to run along the top of the hill above the busy A3 but that all changed in 2011 when the HIndhead Tunnel was opened and the old road ripped up and returned to nature.

It is mildly hilly but nothing too strenuous.

An 4.7 mile circular family walk arond Chawton Park Woods.  Free parking can be found at the football fields by the start of the walk.

An easy, slightly uphill trail leads to the edge of the woodland and then follows it for approximately 2 miles past a grass track racing circuit, a loggging camp and varios side trails trhough the woodland that can be explored if time allows.

There are also a large number of old 'craters, from the days of brick making.  Great for the children to make camps in.

This enjoyable 7.7 mile circular walk starts from the car park of the historic Crofton Beam Engine pumping station. It was built to keep the Kennet & Avon Canal summit supplied with water and is supposed to be the "oldest working beam engine in the world still in its original engine house and capable of actually doing the job for which it was installed."

The route follows the canal to the North of Burbage and encounters some interesting features along the way, including the Bruce tunnel and Burbage Wharf.
