A great 4.5 mile circular walk, on the flat, around Keyhaven Marshes and nature reserve.
Parkign in the pay & display car park, the footpath starts straight away and leads of following a small tributary. It soon turns to a well packed gravel track that circles behind the marshes and inland, passing the entrance to the local waste centre as well as a campsite before eventually popping out in Lower Pennington and The Chequers Inn, a nice 16th Century village pub and restauarant.
Turning back towards the sea, the trail skirts Fennington Marshes before joining the Solent Way and hugging the waters edge back to Keyhaven.
Once back in Keyhaven, the Gun Inn is right by the car park for refreshments.
A great walk for bird spotters and mostly wheelchair accessible.
