This fine walk in the South West Peak area of the Peak District begins at the Pym Chair car park above Goyt Valley, and initially ventures to Windgather Rocks before dropping to lower ground. The route then heads south into the valley of Thursbitch and eventually ascends to the top of Shining Tor before making a return to the car park via Shining Tors ridge, bagging the summit of Cats Tor along the way.
