Adding a route to Walkr is easy.  Follow these 5 steps:

1.  Name your route

The best way to get your route found is to include village or town name as well as the county (i.e. Hook, Hampshire).

If it is an A to B walk, you could add both the start and finish places (i.e. Hook - Newnham, Hampshire) as well as any features (i.e. Windsor River Walk).

2.  Add a route description

A good route description will add to the enjoyment for others walking it.

As well as a desription of the route, add features such as where's the best place to park, is there a pub nearby and any other interesting or historic information.

3.  Add the area information

Add the nearest town and county.

This is in case the title doesn't hold enough information and helps our search engine provide the most accurate route results.

4.  Upload your GPX file

Click the 'Choose' button and pick a file form your computer or device.  Then click 'Upload'.

5.  Pick out some features

Choose some features that can be found along the route as well as marking any hazards

That's it.  Save the route and it'll be instantly added to the website and maps.
